Research interests: Physical anthropology, Archaeology of Childhood, burial practices, Paleopathology in Children, Health and Social Status of Children, and upbringing during the Bronze Age.

My research interests are primarily focused on physical anthropology and the archaeology of childhood. I investigate aspects such as health status, growth and developmental rates, pathologies in children, as well as the influence of biological sex and age on children’s social treatment. Additionally, I explore burial practices and norms associated with the internment of young individuals within ancient communities. The work undertaken for my doctoral dissertation involves a comprehensive analysis of osteological remains and burial practices of children at the Ostojićevo necropolis. The objective of this research is to reconstruct various facets of childhood development and the process of social transition from childhood to adulthood during the Bronze Age
