Research interests: Zooarchaeology, Roman army diet, Roman army supply, Roman period economy, Public archaeology, Promotion of archaeology.

My research focuses on Roman food and supply issues to understand the wider economy and social order during Roman rule. As part of my doctoral research, I am analysing animal remains from the 1st-6th century fortification at the site of Dijana – Karataš in eastern Serbia. In addition, through the Neozoik Foundation, I promote and popularise archaeology and cultural heritage among young people in Serbia and the region.
